Singapore Mahjong does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything the app stores stays on your device.
1. Information We Collect
Singapore Mahjong does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely on-device and makes no network connections.
The following preferences are saved locally on your device only:
- Your chosen player name (optional — defaults to "You" if left blank)
- Your preferred voice gender for spoken tile calls
- Your preferred language for spoken calls (Cantonese, Mandarin, or off)
- Game settings: minimum bet, starting capital, fan threshold, and animal tiles toggle
These values are stored using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). They never leave your device.
2. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use any analytics services, crash-reporting tools, advertising networks, or third-party tracking SDKs. No data about your gameplay, device, or behaviour is collected or reported anywhere.
3. Third-Party Services
Singapore Mahjong does not integrate any third-party services, frameworks, or libraries that collect data. The app does not make any network requests.
4. Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages in this regard.
5. Data Security
Because no personal data is transmitted, there is no data in transit to protect. Settings stored locally on your device are subject to the security protections provided by Apple's iOS, iPadOS, and macOS operating systems.
6. Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to clear your local settings, you can delete and reinstall the app, which removes all locally stored preferences.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
